Ingénierie

Design office & industrial engineering

From design to delivery, we support your industrial projects.

We handle your study and engineering needs, from taking on a complete project to reinforcing your technical teams for a while.

Three ways to work with us

Depending on your need, we take on a project or part of your studies, or we reinforce your team.

  1. A

Entrust a study or a project

We take on a need defined by a specification, with goals and deliverables agreed together.

    Examples

    • Equipment design
    • Product development
    • Special-purpose machine design
    • Redesign of a part
    • Reverse engineering
    • Managing an industrial project

A structured service built around defined goals and deliverables.

  2. B

    Outsource studies

We provide technical support to your design office, on a work package or a specific skill.

    Examples

    • Temporary overload
    • Outsourcing a work package
    • Need for a specific skill
    • Producing technical files
    • Modelling and drawings
    • Support on an existing project

Your study capacity follows your activity, without extra recruitment.

  3. C

    Reinforce a team

We bring in specialised engineers, technicians or draftsmen who work alongside your teams for a defined period.

    Examples

    • Technical assistance
    • On-site work at the client's premises
    • Design office reinforcement
    • Project management support
    • Skills brought in for a defined period

A technical assistance assignment, separate from our recruitment offer.

Mechanical design office

CAD, drawings and complete digital definition of your parts, assemblies and special-purpose machines.

We design your parts, mechanical assemblies and special-purpose machines in CAD, from the first sketch to the complete digital definition.

Every study is carried out with manufacturing, cost and lead-time constraints in mind: a drawing is only worth something if it can be built.

Use case · Full rework of a mechanical drawing for production equipment in an ATEX zone.

When to call us

  • Equipment to design with no internal resource available
  • Drawings that are incomplete, old or unusable in production
  • A special-purpose machine to define for a precise need

Scope

  • 3D modelling of parts and assemblies
  • Drawings and dimensioning
  • Special-purpose machine design
  • Complete digital definition

Product and process design

Products designed to be manufactured, and more reliable processes.

On the product side, we design your parts and mechanical assemblies with production in mind, including for additive manufacturing.

On the process side, we study and optimise your processes and production lines to improve reliability, throughput and safety.

Use case · Topology optimisation of a bracket to reduce weight without losing mechanical strength.

When to call us

  • A new product to design with its manufacturing in mind
  • A production line to make more reliable, faster or safer
  • A part to lighten or adapt to industrial 3D printing

Scope

  • Part and assembly design
  • Process and line studies and optimisation
  • Design for additive manufacturing
  • Prototyping and validation before committing

Automation and electrical studies

Automation and industrial electrical studies for your equipment.

We build automation and industrial electrical work into the studies of your equipment and special-purpose machines.

Our robotisation studies, such as the feasibility of automating a hazardous handling station, follow the same logic: a complete, realistic solution.

When to call us

  • A special-purpose machine to automate
  • A hazardous station to robotise
  • An electrical study to include in the project

Scope

  • Automation studies
  • Industrial electrical studies
  • Robotisation feasibility studies

Reverse engineering

Recovering the technical definition of a part or equipment with no original drawings.

We rebuild the technical definition of existing equipment with no original drawings, through measurement and 3D scanning.

The resulting model is then used to remanufacture, inspect, document or evolve the part.

Use case · Full reverse engineering of a spare part no longer available from the original supplier.

When to call us

  • A spare part that can no longer be sourced
  • An old tool with no documentation at all
  • A part to inspect against its definition

Scope

  • 3D scanning of existing parts
  • Dimension capture and measurement
  • Rebuilding the 3D model and drawings
  • Dimensional inspection

Redesign

Evolving existing equipment rather than starting from scratch.

Starting from an existing definition, or one rebuilt through reverse engineering, we take over the design of a part or equipment to adapt it to a new need.

It is often the fastest way to replace a component that can no longer be sourced, fix a weak point or extend a machine's life.

When to call us

  • Equipment that must evolve with your production
  • A component to replace with an available solution
  • A recurring weak point to fix

Scope

  • Analysis of the existing design
  • Redesign and new definition
  • Manufacturing constraints taken into account
  • Updated drawings

Industrial project management

A technical lead for your projects, from scoping to delivery.

We steer your technical projects, coordinate everyone involved and secure the milestones, from scoping through delivery.

Because we are designers too, we know which technical questions to ask at the right time, before they turn into delays.

When to call us

  • Several internal and external parties to coordinate
  • Tight milestones to meet
  • A technical project with no project manager available

Scope

  • Scoping the real need
  • Milestone planning and tracking
  • Coordination of all parties
  • Follow-up through implementation

Technical assistance

Technical reinforcement within your teams, from startups to large corporations.

We reinforce your teams on their technical topics, whether you are a startup or a large corporation.

Our technicians and engineers immerse themselves in your environment and speak the shop floor's language as much as the design office's.

When to call us

  • A peak workload your teams cannot absorb
  • A technical skill missing for the duration of a project
  • Support needed on a project already under way

Scope

  • Design and engineering reinforcement
  • Technical support on an ongoing project
  • Work on a specific phase or over time
